We have officially opened our studio by offering 50% off our newborn packages while we develop our technique, flow and experiment with our new lighting and props. This past week has been pivotal in our vision for future studio work. After watching a ton of youtube videos, talking to people and reading articles I realized that I have to do this my way. Lonnie has been so patient as we created a stage that displayed our newborns the way I have only dreamed of. I have had a few sleepless nights as I have been wanting to take newborns to another level. I hope from this post you will see, we have.
I have been so blessed to have met Wyatt's mommy through the city years ago. Words cannot describe how happy I was when she reached out to me for newborn pictures.
Newborn sessions are tricky. They aren't something you just take on as babies have no sense of time or posing all they know is they want to be warm and full of milk. Making sure your baby is full before you arrive is a huge deal! It helps achieve the sleepy pictures. Wyatt was ready for pictures as soon as he came in. We swaddled him up tight, kept a heater on him as well as having our heat on and he was good to go!
I am having so much fun hanging out with these newborns and watching their personality and future lifestyle laid out for them. Jess + Elliot brought real animal skin over and wow it was exactly what we needed to add to these pictures.
As we head on through the year I am looking forward to learning and perfecting my craft. Everything jumped from 100% - 1000% this past fall and I am just now able to grab the reins to bring everything together. God opened some big doors in 2017 and gave me every bit of reassurance along the way. Hello 2018 we have arrived.
